I just salvaged whatever I could, and within 2 days the whole drive started whirring and was unusable. Luckily I didn't lose too much of my stuff, since I had a pretty recent backup and most of the important stuff I'd done in the later weeks was just small things that I either had in source revision systems or duplicated elsewhere. So, I forgot to follow up on this, it was actually the sectors on the disk that started getting really bad in a quick fashion.

It looks like a disk fauliur but its not. If it was the archive and reinstall would not help. But in my case it did... Now i screwed up my pc by running gues os's so ye...
